A bourbon club with deep roots
Whiskey City Bourbon Society is a private club for responsible adult bourbon lovers in and around Lawrenceburg. We gather to learn the story behind the glass, taste great whiskey together, and keep our town's distilling heritage alive for the next generation.
Heritage
From the first still on Tanner's Creek to the warehouses on Shipping Street, we dig into the people and places that made Lawrenceburg “Whiskey City.”
Tastings & Education
Guided tastings, mash bill deep-dives, and distillery experiences that help every member find what they love in a pour.
Fellowship
Good company is the best part of good bourbon. Our events are about friendship, community, and raising a glass together.
Two centuries on Tanner's Creek
Our town has been making whiskey for over 200 years
Lawrenceburg had everything a distiller could want: cool, limestone-filtered water from the Great Miami Aquifer, the Ohio River to carry barrels to market, and rich farmland full of rye and corn.
The ground where the first still stood in the early 1800s is part of a distillery campus that is still making whiskey today. That's the story we gather to celebrate.
